Black dog framing
Based at Stibb Hollow Farm in Langtree, we offer a bespoke framing service for a wide variety of items. While photographs, prints and paintings are the most popular requests, we also frame medals, magazines, memorabilia and other treasured pieces.
Every item is different, and choosing the right frame and mount can make a huge difference to how something looks. We are always happy to discuss ideas and help customers find a style that complements both the item and where it will be displayed.
Picture framing is often about much more than simply putting something behind glass. Many of the things brought into the workshop have a personal story attached to them – a family photograph, a special painting, a service medal or even an old pair of glasses. Whatever it is, its always rewarding to help customers preserve these memories and have them displayed, rather than kept tucked away in a draw somewhere.
As well as new framing, we also offer a repair service. We can replace broken glass, rehang slipped artwork, replacing backing boards and renew hangers.
If you would like to visit the workshop for a free quote and consultation on your framing requirements, please contact us in advance to make an appointment. Please phone 01805 601777. Thank you.

Picture Framing Experience
Why not book your framing experience and learn how to create your very own bespoke picture frame for your own piece of artwork. No prior experience is necessary.
Each course lasts approximately 3 hours and costs £150 per person. We include all aspects of the frame construction from the initial design, the framing materials required and tuition needed to ensure that you leave with your own artwork in your own picture frame. All we ask is that your selected print, or picture is no larger than approximately 30 x 30 cm (12" x12").
