Apart from us Nicci and Matt, the kids, and our  friendly black labs Buster and Nelly, you won’t meet another soul in your little idyll. We will leave to your own devices, simply furnishing you with a welcome basket bursting with local produce and letting you unwind into the quiet. The cabin is in its own fenced off area of land, with a firepit, a BBQ, hot tub, garden seating and big folding doors that all combine to make the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor life. Inside you’ll find a big sofa and armchairs and a wood burner to keep you all cosy as the board game battles begin. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hobs, a microwave, air frier, kettle, toaster and combi oven, so you can whip up quick meals before you head off adventuring. There’s a king-size double bed in the master bedroom; a standard double and bunk beds in the second bedroom. There is a large walk-in shower in the bathroom at the back of the cabin. The whole space has an open, light feel that’ll have you breezing around barefoot and relaxing into slow pace of the countryside in no time.

Initial amount of firewood is provided. Additional can be purchased on-site.

 

Do you have friends with a camper van or motor home that would like to come along? For a small extra charge they can park onsite (we have ample parking). The lambing shed has electricity, fridge, freezer and dinning table.

Maybe the grandparents want to join in on your holiday but don't want do clamping or there simply isn't the room for you all, lots of our guests book our B&B for extra guests so everyone can be together but have their own space at night. There are lots of possibilities so give us a call and we can work it out.

 

The night sky here at Stibb Hollow is breathtaking you can watch a magical moon rise over the fields, gazing up at the stars and the Milky Way, catching a glimpse of a barn owl in the cool moonlight… There are so many ways we can enjoy our night skies away from the dazzle and distraction of artificial lighting. Relax in our hot tub and enjoy our natural wonder that is the sky. Whilst some lighting at night is important for our safety, unnecessary artificial light spilling into the night sky is a waste of money and energy, increasing our carbon emissions which in turn, has a negative impact on our environment. We are proud that Devon has the fourth darkest night skies in the country, with low levels of light pollution.

Dog Friendly. New for 2023. We are officially dog friendly. Well behaved, sheep, chicken and cat friendly dogs are allowed. 

 

Space for one well behaved dog from £20 per stay. Bed, water and food bowls are provided. The cabin has a large enclosed garden, but please note that our sheep live in the adjacent field, so please keep your dog under control.
